Installing the MGX 8830 or MGX 8830/B Switch

Step6 Use the 10-32 truss head screws to secure the switch to the rear-mounting brackets.

Install the Cable Management Assembly

The cable management assembly consists of two identical, vertical cable managers, two moun ting

brackets, and screws. Complete the following steps to install the cable management assembly after the

switch is installed in the chassis:

Step1 Use the provided No. 10-32 screws and the appropriate screwdriver to attach the two mounting brackets

to the rear of the switch.

Step2 Use the provided No. 10-32 screws and the ap propriate screwdriver to install the cable manag ers on the

mounting brackets (see Figure 5-76).

Connect the AC Power Supply Tray to the MGX 8830 Switch

Caution Do not use a power screwdriver on captive screws.
