Example
The following example configures an external time source for the system clock.
Console(config)# clock source sntp
clock timezoneThe clock timezone Global Configuration mode command sets the time zone for
display purposes. Use the no form of this command to set the time to the
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
Syntax
clock timezone
hours-offset
[minutes
minutes-offset
] [zone
acronym
]
no clock timezone
Parameters
•
hours-offset —
Hours difference from UTC. (Range: -12 hours to +13 hours)
•
minutes-offset
— Minutes difference from UTC. (Range: 0-59)
•
acronym
— The acronym of the time zone. (Range: Up to 4 characters)
Default Configuration
Offset is 0.
Acronym is empty.
