Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
The location of a file system dictates the format of the source or destination URL.
The entire copying process may take several minutes and differs from protocol to
protocol and from network to network.
*.prv and *.sys files cannot be copied.
Understanding Invalid Combinations of Source and Destination — Some invalid
combinations of source and destination exist. Specifically, you cannot copy if one
of these conditions exists:
The source file and destination file are the same file.
xmodem: is the destination file. The source file can be copied to image,
boot and null: only.
tftp:// is the source file and destination file on the same copy.
boot Boot file.
tftp:// Source or destination URL for a TFTP
network server. The syntax for this alias is
tftp:

//host/[directory]/filename

. The host can
be represented by its IP address or
hostname.
xmodem: Source for the file from a serial connection
that uses the Xmodem protocol.
null: Null destination for copies or files. A remote
file can be copied to null to determine its
size.
