If there is at least 1 trusted key, then unauthenticated messages will be ignored.
Example
The following example authenticates key 8.
Console(config)# sntp authentication-key 8 md5 ClkKey

sntp client poll timer
The sntp client poll timer Global Configuration mode command sets the polling
time for the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client. Use the no form of this
command to restore default configuration.
Syntax
sntp client poll timer
seconds
no sntp client poll timer
Parameters

seconds
— Polling interval in seconds. (Range: 60-86400)
Default Configuration
Polling interval is 1024 seconds.
