User Guidelines
The DSCP to DSCP mutation map is applied to a port at the boundary of a Quality
of Service (QoS) administrative domain.
If two QoS domains have different DSCP definitions, use the DSCP to DSCP
mutation map to match one set of DSCP values with the DSCP values of another
domain.
Apply the DSCP to DSCP mutation map only to ingress and to DSCP-trusted ports.
Applying this map to a port causes IP packets to be rewritten with newly mapped
DSCP values at the ingress ports.
If the DS CP to DS CP muta tion map is appli ed to an u ntruste d port , class of ser vice
(CoS) or IP-precedence trusted port, this command has no immediate effect until
the port becomes DSCP-trusted.

The following example applies the DSCP Mutation Map to system DSCP trusted
