RAID Battery

Installing a RAID Battery

Locate the RAID battery pocket on the chassis that is adjacent to hard driv e bay 0. S ee Figure 3-11.

Insert the battery in the battery poc ket.

Connect the battery cable to the RAID controller daughter card. See Fig ure 3-11.

Removing a RAID Battery

Disconnect the RAID battery cable from the SAS RAID daughter card. See Figure 3-11.

Press the release latch toward the hard-drive bays and remove the battery from the battery pocket.
