Defining ARP Settings

Use the
ARP Settings
page to define ARP parameters for an IP interface. The ARP table is used to
maintain a correlation between each MAC address and its corresponding IP address. The ARP table
can be filled in statically by the user. When a static ARP entry is defined, a permanent entry is put
in the table, which the system uses to translate IP addresses to MAC addresses.
To open the
ARP Settings
page, click
System

in the tree view.
