Defining SNTP Authentication Methods

The
SNTP Authentication
page enables SNTP authentication between the device and a SNTP
server. The SNTP server is also selected in the
SNTP Authentication
page.
Click
System
SNTP
Authentication
in the tree view to open the
SNTP Authentication
page.

The
SNTP Authentication
page contains the following fields:
SNTP Authentication
— If enabled, requires authenticating an SNTP session between the device
and an SNTP server.
Encryption Key ID
— Contains a list of user-defined key IDs used to authenticate the SNTP server
and device. Possible field values are 1 to 4294967295.
Authentication Key (1-8 Characters)
— The key used for authentication.
Trusted Key
— Check the check box to s
pecify the encryption key used (Unicast/Anycast) or
elected (Broadcast) to authenticate the SNTP server..
Remove
— Check the check box to remove the selected authentication key.
