Epson EPL-5700 ESCP2, FX, and I239X mode

Protect Level

Allows you to increase the amount of memory allocated for

page protection. If the Page Protect is off, an overrun error

might occur if there is not enought memory to print a page. If

this error occurs, turn the protect level On.

MicroGray

Enables your printer to increase the grayscale quality to

approximate 1,200 dpi. If your software program supports

halftone, its graphic output becomes smoother than the normal

PostScript setting. If you want to print your doc uments using

standard PostScript grayscale, turn MicroGray off.

MicroGray is not available in 300-dpi mode.

ESCP2, FX, and I239X mode

Clicking the Other button brings up the following dialog box.

This menu is available only in ESCP 2, FX, or I239X emulation

modes.
