3.To change to a resident font, see the next section. Otherwise, press the ONLINE button to return online. You are ready to print using the selected menu.

Changing the menu font to a resident font

Before printing, you can use the control panel to select a resident font other than the font defined in the selected menu. To change a menu font to a resident font:

1.Make sure that the printer is offline.

2.Repeatedly press the FONT button. The lighted indicator shows the font selected.

COUR 10:	Courier font at 10 cpi
PRESTG 12:	Prestige Elite font at 12 cpi
Compress 17:	Compressed font at 17 cpi
Bold PS:	Boldface font proportionally spaced
Time PS:	Timeless font proportionally spaced
N.Sans PS:	Nimbus Sans font proportionally spaced
DRAFT 10:	Draft font at 10 cpi
DRAFT 12:	Draft font at 12 cpi
HIDRFT 10:	High-speed Draft font at 10 cpi
MENU FONT:	Font, quality, and pitch selected in MENU 1
	or 2

3.Press the ONLINE button to return online for printing. You are now ready to print using the selected menu and resident font.
