6.7.1.2 Change Encryption Mode

The procedure to change or disable the Encryption Mode is described below.

(Change "Fujitsu Original Encryption" to/from "AES") or

(Change "Fujitsu Original Encryption" or "AES" to "Encryption Mode invalidity")

Procedure

1Click [Set Encryption Mode] under the Setting Encryption in the [Settings] menu.

→The [Set Encryption Mode (Initial)] screen appears.

2Change an Encryption Mode, and click the [Set] button.

→The [Set Encryption Mode (Check Setting)] screen appears.

In the following cases, this function cannot be used.

Click the [OK] button to return to the [Menu] screen.

•When the storage system already contains encrypted volumes.

•When the storage system is encrypting volumes.

•When the memory capacities installed in each of the device's

CMs are not matched.
