7.4Simple Troubleshooting

This section provides simple troubleshooting procedures which the user can follow to restore normal operation. If you cannot restore normal operation do not attempt to check inside the unit. Any trouble should be referred to a qualified technician.

General troubleshooting

you cannot turn on the

! check for blown fuse.

! check that the power connector is firmly fastened.

 

! check for corrosion on the power cable connector.

 

! check for damaged power cable.

 

! check battery for proper voltage output (10.8 to 31.2 V).

there is no response when

! turn off and on the power. If there still is no response the key may be faulty.
