Hydraulic and steering system malfunctions

NOTE

These notes only apply for valve arrange- ments conforming to our circuit diagrams or approved by Bucher Hydraulics.

Malfunction	Cause	Remedy
Power lift or hydraulic cylinder is not	Slide valve in input plate jammed	Remove and clean slide valve in
lifting. No build-up of pressure	due to foreign particles	input plate LU8SSCS-
discernible (steering working		OM22/04!
normally).		Do not change the pressure setting!
Power lift is lifting too little.	Pressure setting too low	Reset the pressure with a pressure
		gauge (190 bar).
	Oil level too low	Add the specified oil type.
Operating pressure is only achieved	Pump defective	Replace the pump
at high RPM.
Power lift is not lifting	Lift cylinder leaking	Clean / renew
Insufficient power,	Valve leaking
drops after operation.
