Setup

Installing the Toner Developers

Note:

The toner developers that are shipped with the printer are starter developers. They are installed in exactly the same manner as the optional developers; the only difference is that the starter developers have less toner. (The page life expectancy is 5000 pages for color and 6000 pages for black, both based on a 5% image area.)

Remove the packaging from the toner developer.

Remove the shipping cover from the developer.

Caution:

To avoid possible toner spillage, do not tilt developer.

Note:

Save all packing material for shipping purpose.
