3. Ensure the Operator Fibre Channel address menu is set correctly.See
options 4 and 5 in Table3 on page 10. Use the Fibre address
information to verify that:
vThe drive is receiving light over the Fibre cable (the address is not “-- --
--”)
vThe drive can communicate over the Fibre cable (address is not “?? ??
??”)
vThe drive AL_PAis not already being used on the Fibre loop (address =
aa bb cc CONFLICT)
vThe drive AL_PAis not bypassed on the loop (address = aa bb cc
OFFLINE). This can be initiated by another device on the loop.
4. Check the Fibre Channel Attachment in its environments.

is supported.
