Chapter 4 — Managing the CK30

Accessing the System Main Menu

You need to access the System Main Menu to be able to use most of the tools for managing the CK30, such as File Manager and the Configuration Utility. You can set a password to protect access to the System Main Menu. For help setting the password, see “Setting or Changing the System Main Menu Password” on page 76.

To access the System Main Menu

1From the CK30 start screen, press Cand then B.

2If you have set a password, enter it in the System Menu Access screen and press Enter.

The System Main Menu appears.

Note: If you have set a password to restrict access to the System Main Menu, an icon ( ) appears on the status bar indicating that you are using the password-protected area of the CK30.

To exit the System Main Menu

1If you are running a task that you do not want an unauthorized user to access, make sure you close it.

2From the System Main Menu, press Esc.

3When the Exit Main Menu screen appears, press Enter.
