To repeat a desired portion—A-B Repeat

You can repeat playback of a desired portion by specifying the beginning (point A) and the ending (point B).

•A-B Repeat cannot be used on some DVDs.

•You cannot use A-B Repeat during Program and Random Play or while a disc is not playing.

& During playback

1 Press ON SCREEN twice.

The on-screen bar with pull-down menu appears on the TV.

Ex.: When playing a DVD VIDEO.

2 Press cursor 3/2 repeatedly to

select (highlight) on the pull-down menu.

3 Press ENTER.

The pop-up window appears under the pull-down menu.

4 Press cursor ∞/5 repeatedly to select “A-B.”

5 Press ENTER at the beginning of the portion you want to repeat (point A).

“ A - ” appears in the pull-down menu.

• TheA-Bindicator also lights up on the display.

6 Press ENTER at the end of the portion you want to repeat (point B).

A-B repeat playback starts. The selected part (between point A and B) is played repeatedly.

To turn off the on-screen bar

Press ON SCREEN.

To cancel the A-B Repeat playback Select “OFF” in step 4, then press ENTER.

• Pressing ¢, 4 or 7 also cancels the A-B Repeat playback.

While playing back a DVD

A-B Repeat is possible only within the same title.

7Locating a desired position—Time Search

You can start playing at your desired position by specifying the elapsed playing time from the beginning of the current title up to “9:59:59” (for DVD), or from the beginning of the disc up to “99:59” (for VCD/SVCD/CD).

& For DVD VIDEO:	During playback
For SVCD/VCD:	While stopped or during playback
	without PBC

For DVD AUDIO/CD: While stopped or during playback

1 Press ON SCREEN twice.
