Control panel settings
6 If a message appears, asking whether to reformat the hard disk, touch [Yes].
–To cancel changes to the settings, touch [No].
7 Follow the instructions in the screen to restart the machine.
8 When an error message appears, indicating that the encryption key does not match, the Administrator Setting screen appears. In this screen, touch [HDD Format].

Reminder
When turning the main power switch off, then on again, wait at least 10 seconds before turning it on, otherwise the copier may not function nor- mally.

Note
In order to enable the setting specified in the Temporary Data Overwrite Setting screen, “Overwrite Temporary Data” on the Security Details screen must be set to “ON”.
