There are five manuals that separately describe the procedures for the installa- tion of a printer and for the operation and maintenance of the printer and its op- tional equipment.

Setup Guide

Describes the procedures and provides necessary information about install- ing and setting up the printer and its options. This guide is provided as a printed manual, and also as a PDF file on the CD-ROM labeled “Printer Driv- ers and Utilities”.

Printer Reference

Describes the procedures and provides necessary information about using the printer and its options. The manual is included as a PDF file on the CD- ROM labeled “Printer Drivers and Utilities” (this manual).

PostScript 3 Operating Instructions Supplement

Describes the menus and features you can set using the PostScript printer driver. The manual is included as a PDF file on the CD-ROM labeled “Printer Drivers and Utilities”.

Network Interface Board Operating Instructions

Describes the procedures and provides necessary information about setting up and using the printer in a network environment. The manual is included as a PDF file on the CD-ROM labeled “Printer Drivers and Utilities”.

UNIX Supplement

Provides information about setting up and using the printer in a UNIX envi- ronment. This manual is included as a PDF file on the CD-ROM labeled “Printer Drivers and Utilities”.
