Loading Thick Paper,

Paper and Other Media

Confirm that the setting of the paper size dial matches the pa- per size and feed direction of the paper in the tray. If is does not, misfeeds or unexpected printing results might occur.

When the actual paper size is

not shown on the dial, set the dial to "p" and select the paper

size using the operation panel.

Envelopes or OHP

Transparencies

You can load thick paper, envelopes or OHP transparencies into the tray 2.

When thick paper or OHP transpar- encies are loaded, switch the lever in- side of the paper tray.

When you set thick paper in tray 2, do not stack paper above the lower limit mark (A) of tray 2.

A Change the lever on the paper size dial of the tray 2 (A) to "Non- Standard Paper” mode.

A yellow line appears under the paper size indicated on the front of the paper tray (B).

Return the lever to the left side, after you have finished printing on thick paper, envelopes or OHP transparencies.

If “Non-Standard Paper” mode is selected, the following func- tions are not available with tray 2:

Locked print
