Place of storage in memory.

Text mode (+CMGF=1): number of characters

 

PDU mode (+CMGF=0): length of the TP data unit in bytes

Memory used to list, read and delete messages (+CMGL,

 

+CMGR and +CMGD).

Memory used to write and send messages (+CMGW, +CMSS).
