6. In the IP Address field, type the LAN IP address for the modem router.
7. In the IP Subnet Mask, type the LAN subnet mask for the modem router.
8. Click the Apply button.
Your changes are saved.
If you changed the LAN IP address of the modem router, you are disconnected when the
changes take effect.
To reconnect, close your browser, relaunch it, and log in to the router.
Change the Modem Router’s Device Name
The router’s device name is D500 or D1500, depending on the model of the modem router.
This device name displays in a file manager when you browse your network.
To change the router’s device name:
1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the
network.
2. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.
A login screen displays.
3. Enter the user name and password for the modem router.
The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and
password are case-sensitive.
4. Click the OK button.
The BASIC Home screen displays.
5. Select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
The LAN Setup screen displays.
6. In the Device Name field, type a new name.
