Easy Installation and Management

Youcan install, configure, and operate the Model RP114Web Safe Router within minutes after

connectingit to the network. The following features simplify installation and management tasks:

• Browser-based management

Browser-basedconfiguration allows you to easily configure your router from almost any type

ofpersonal computer, such as Windows, Macintosh, or Linux. A user-friendlySetup Wizard is

providedand online help documentation is built into the browser-based WebManagement

Interface.

• ManagerInterface

The ManagerInterface provides access to certain advanced features such as customfilters.

Youcan access this interface from the network by using a Telnetclient program.

• Visualmonitoring

The ModelRP114 router’s front panel LEDs provide an easy way to monitorits status and

activity.

Maintenance and Support

NETGEAR offersthe following features to help you maximize your use of the Model RP114

router:

• Flashmemory for firmware upgrade
