Field Description
RouteName Entera descriptive name for this route for identification purposes only.
Active Usethis field to activate or deactivate this static route.
DestinationIP Address Enterthe IP network address of the final destination. Routing isalways based
onnetwork number. If you need to specify a route to a single host, use a
subnetmask of 255.255.255.255 in the subnet mask field to force the
networknumber to be identical to the host ID.
IPSubnet Mask Enterthe subnet mask for this destination.
GatewayIP Address Enterthe IP address of the gateway to the destination network. The gateway
isthe next router that your router contacts in order to forward packetsto the
destination.On the LAN, the gateway must be a router on the same segment
asthe router. Over the WAN, the gateway will be the IP address of the router
atyour ISP.
