WAN Se tup
Menu2 enables you to configure the 10 Mbps Ethernet port to a broadband modem device,such as
a cable or DSL modem. This port is labeledWAN on the front panel of the router.

Field Description
MACAddress TheMAC Address is the 48-bit Ethernet address of the router’s INTERNET port.
AssignedBy Setto Factory default to use the router’s internal globally unique MAC address.
Setto ‘IP address attached on LAN’ to acquire and substitute the MAC address of
oneof your PCs on the local network. Some ISPs will only accept trafficfrom the
MACaddress of one PC. This feature allows your router to masquerade as that PC
byusing its MAC address.
IPAddress If you selected IPaddress attached on LAN in the previous field, you must specify
theIP address of the local PC with the MAC address to be used by the router.
