Working with streaming content

When you select a link to view streaming content in your smartphone’s web browser, the Streaming Media app works in the background to display the content. You can also access streaming media by entering a web address in the Streaming Media app itself.

Connecting to streaming content

BEFORE YOU BEGIN Do the following:

•Be sure to subscribe to data services from your wireless service provider.

•Make sure your phone is on and that you’re inside a coverage area (see Turning your phone on).

•Make sure you know the web address (URL) of the Real Time Streaming

Protocol (RTSP) website containing the content you want to view.

1Press Start and select Programs.

2Select Streaming Media .

3Press Connect (left softkey).

4Enter the address of the RTSP website containing the media you want to view.

5Press Connect (left softkey).

Viewing streaming content

Do any of the following while viewing the content:

Begin playback: Tap .

Pause playback: Tap .

Rewind: Tap .

Fast forward: Tap .

Zoom in or out: Press Up or Down

on the 5-way.

Mute the sound: Press Menu (right

softkey) and select Mute.

View the content on the full screen: Press Menu (right softkey) and select Full screen.
