Using the keyboard

		Understanding the keyboard backlight
		Your smartphone includes a keyboard
		backlight for low light conditions. The
1	7	keyboard backlight activates automatically
2	8	when the screen turns on. The backlight
		dims when the screen dims, and it turns
3	9	off automatically when the screen turns off
	10	or when you are on a call or playing music
		in the background for longer than the time
4	11	specified in Backlight Settings. You can set
		different time intervals depending on

		whether the smartphone is operating on
6	13	battery power or is connected to an
