Viewing Current Network Performance Statistics

The Current Network Performance Statistics screen allows you to monitor selected current network status and error information for both the near- and far-end units from a single screen.

To view Current Network Performance Statistics, follow this menu selection sequence:

he following Network Performance Statistics are collected for the selected port:

Margin: Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) Margin, the amount (in dB) that the Receive signal has exceeded the value needed to maintain a Bit Error Rate (BER) of 10–6or better.

XmtPw: The transmit power level.

RxGn: The receiver gain level.

he following Network Error Statistics are collected for the selected port:

ES (Errored Seconds): Seconds during which one or more ESF error events occurred.

SES (Severely Errored Seconds): Seconds during which more than

320 cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error events or at least one Out of Frame

T(OOF) event occurred.

FEBE (Far-End Block Errors): Errors reported by the remote equipment.
