7. Monitoring and Troubleshooting

TStatus: Contains the contents of the status events register. The status events register maintains a history of specific events that have occurred during an interval. Values include:

Y: Remote alarm indication signal received at the G.703 interface

L: Loss of signal detected at the G.703 interface

E: Excessive error rate threshold exceeded

F: Frame synchronization bit error detected

V: Line code violation detected

None: No significant events have occurred

Current Interval Timer

The number of seconds which have elapsed in the current

 

15-minute interval. Maximum value is 900 seconds

 

(15 minutes). This counter resets every 15 minutes.

 

When zero, the port is disabled.

 

 

Error Events Counter

A running total of CRC errors. Range 0– 65535. This counter

 

resets when the statistics are cleared. When zero, the port is

 

disabled.

 

 

Current Interval

Performance data for the current 15-minute interval. When

 

blank, the port is disabled.

 

 

Interval xx

Historical performance data for up to 96 15-minute intervals

 

(24 hours). When blank, the port is disabled.

 

 

Worst Interval

The number of the interval with the worst (highest) performance

 

data statistics. If two or more intervals are equal, the oldest

 

interval is displayed. When zero, the port is disabled.

A running total of the performance statistics.
