The idle browser shows non-interactive web content on the idle screen that displays when your phone is
idle. You cannot display the Idle Browser during an active call. When your phone is idle, you can view an
Idle Browser as you navigate between Home and Lines view. To see the Idle Browser, you need to set up
the screen saver. See Displaying Screen Savers for information on setting up a screen saver.
The Main Browser enables you to search and navigate web pages on your phone.
To view the interactive Main Browser:
» From home view, select Applications, as shown next.
You can do the following from the Main Browser:
Select hyperlinks to view more web pages.
Select a text box and enter information using the dialpad keys on the phone console or the editing
icons.
Navigate pages using the arrow keys on the phone’s console. The Main Browser displays scrolling
indicators on screen show your position on the web page.
The Main Browser displays navigation and editing icons that display in a toolbar along the bottom of the
Main Browser, as shown next.

You can use the navigation and editing icons to navigate between web pages and enter information into
text boxes in the Main Browser.
Navigating the Main Browser
The navigation icons enable you to view previous web pages, refresh the current page, return to the Main
Browser’s Home page, or return to your phone’s Home screen. The following table lists the navigation
icons that display in the Main Browser.
