System Memory
This menu item displays the amount of RAM that is available on the motherboard. There are 8 megabytes of RAM factory±installed on the motherboard.
Depending on the paper length selection, the following memory requirements must be met to allow the printer to run at optimum speed:

NOTE: Beyond 16 Megabytes of additional memory, all added memory is used for fonts/forms storage.
