In most cases, Mode refers to the emulation that you will use. The Printronix LinePrinter Plus emulation is the standard emulation mode. IGP/PGL, IGP/VGL, CTHI, IPDS, or PCL5 Language Compatible emulations are available as options.

The contents of the Mode menu structure will be created by the printer at run±time when the printer software reads the diskette to determine what interpreter(s) is available.

When powered±up, the printer will automatically load the default configuration values. The default set of parameters is the factory setting until a new setting is saved to default. Refer to the ªFactory Settingsº section on page 3±14 to restore the factory settings after you have created a new default setting.

NOTE: Each emulation may have its own set of configuration options in addition to those that are in the printer system list. Refer to the appropriate Programmer's Reference Manual or Operator's Guide for these unique configuration settings.
