Configuring remote alert
The DVR 31 can send alarm notifications to a remote PC using compatible
monitoring software. Use the Remote Alert screen to define settings that allow
the DVR 31 to communicate with the remote PC and to enable this feature.
In addition, the DVR sends a signal to the remote PC every two minutes to
indicate that the DVR is still active.
To configure remote alert:
1. Click Alarms on the main menu to display the Alarms screen.
2. Click Remote Alert Setup to display the Remote Alert screen.
3. Select an alert set.
