The Apps icon in the center is pe rmanent. Find it and dou ble-tap
to reveal all your apps and widgets.
Your Home screen can hold app and wi dget icons, plus fold ers.
• To open an app, folder, or widget, nd i ts icon and double- tap.
• To see additional Home screens, swi pe left then right or right
then left in a single motion , or left or right using t wo ngers.
At the top of the screen, you’ll nd th e status bar:
• Status icons on the left tell you which apps have se nt you noti-
cations—for example, that a message has arr ived, or it’s time
for a meeting. If you have TalkBack or anothe r accessibilit y ser-
vice running, i t will speak the no tication wh en it rst appea rs.
To nd your noticat ions, use tw o ngers to pul l down the noti -
cation shade from the top of the screen, or swipe up then right
using a single motion.
• System icons on the right display the current wireles s and net-
work connection streng th, battery level, ti me, and more.
Google Search, just below the status and system i cons, lets you
search your tablet or the Intern et. Find Search and double- tap to
type your search terms, or Voice Search to speak th em.

right using a single motion.
