Windows transfer
1. Con nect your tablet to the USB po rt on your computer. Its USB
storage is mounted as a drive and app ears on your computer
screen.
2. Copy les back and forth as you would using any other exter nal
device.
3. When you nish, eject the tablet fro m within Windows before
unplugging the USB cable.
Mac OS transfer
1. Insta ll Android File Transfer from www.android.com/letrans-
fer, and follow the instructions th ere. (If you are using Androi d
File Transfer for the rst ti me, do uble-click it to open i t. Af-
ter the rs t connectio n, it opens auto matically wh enever you
connect .)
2. Connect your t ablet to your computer with a USB cable. A n-
droid File Transfer starts, if it ’s not already running, a nd opens
a window that displays the contents of yo ur tablet, along with
storage space details at the bot tom of the window.
3. Work with this window m uch as you do in the Finder window :
open and close folders, create new folders, and drag les to or
from it and other Finder windows.
