3. Touch a network name to se e more details or conne ct to it, and
type a password if necessar y.
Or, if your Wi-Fi router suppo rts Wi-Fi Protected Setup , touch
the WPS icon on your tablet, and th en touch the same but-
ton on your router.
To modify a network’s settings , touch & hold the networ k name.
TIP: To extend the life of your battery be tween charges, tur n
off Wi-Fi when you’re not usi ng it. You can also set your tab -
let to disconnect automatica lly from Wi-Fi networks when
it’s sleeping.
Add a Wi-Fi network
You can add a Wi-Fi network so tha t your tablet will remembe r it,
along with any security cre dentials, and connect to it auto mati-
cally when it’s in range. You must als o add a Wi-Fi network if t he
network does not broadcas t its name (SSID), or to add a Wi-F i net-
work when you are out of range.
To join a secured network , you rst nee d to learn securi ty details
from the network’s administrator.
