Privacy & accounts
These settings control the a ccount for use with Google Search
and search-related pr ivacy options for that ac count. You can view
them in two ways:
• From the Google Now screen: Menu > Settings > Privacy &
accounts.
• From your tablet’s main Settin gs app: Settings > Accounts
> Google > Search.
Touch each setting to learn more:
• Google Account. The account used with Google S earch and
Google Now.
• Manage location history. Opens Google Maps settings, wher e
you turn location settings a nd location repor ting on or off.
• Google location settings. Lets you turn location access by all
Google apps on or off. If locatio n access is turned on for your
tablet, you can turn Google a pps access off here without af-
fecting access by non-G oogle apps.
• Show recent searches. Chec k if you want search suggestions
based on your recent searches.
• Manage Web History. Opens your Web Hi story settings in a
browser. You may have to sign in to reach them.
