When you turn on TalkBack, spoke n feedback starts im mediately.
As you navigate your tablet, TalkBack de scribes your actions a nd
alerts you of notications an d other occurrence s.
If you also enabl ed Explore by Touch, moving your nger a round
the screen triggers a descr iption of each item it touch es. Double-
tap to activate the last spoken item , and sw ipe with two ngers
to perform swiping action s that normally require j ust one nger.
Change TalkBack settings
To modify TalkBack settings, go to Settings > Accessibility > Talk-
Back, then double-tap Set tings in the top right corner.
When to speak
• Speech volume. You can set this as a percentage of media
volume.
• Use pitch changes. Check to spe ak keyboard feedback at a
lower pitch.
• Speak when screen is off. Chec k to turn on spoken feedback
when the screen is off.
