Use the lock screen
About the lock screen
Your tablet’s lock screen is ena bled if any of the following o ccurs:
• The tablet goes to sleep (and it loc ks automatically).
• The screen turns of f after a speci ed timeout (depending on
your display settings).
• You force your screen to turn off and the t ablet to lock by press -
ing the power button.
Unlock your tablet
1. Hold th e screen in portrait m ode and turn it on by pressin g the
Power button on the right side of yo ur tablet.
2. Touch the lower center of the s creen.
3. Slide your nger all the way acros s the scree n to the right.
You’ll receive spoken feedback th at the tablet is unlo cked if you
do this successfully.
