Settings
To change when your tablet goes to slee p, go to Set-
tings > Device > Display > Sleep.
To see your passwords when you input them , go to
Settings > Personal > Securi ty > Make passwords
visible.
Encrypt your data You can encrypt all your data: Goo gle Accounts, app data, m usic
and other media, downloade d information, and so on. If you do,
you must enter a numeric PIN or passwo rd each time you turn
on your tablet. Note that this is the sam e PIN or password that
you use to unlock your tablet witho ut encryption , and can’t be set
independently.
WARNING: Encryption is irreversibl e. The only way to revert
is to perform a factory data res et, which erases al l your data.
If your tablet has multiple user s, only the owner can see the en -
cryption settings.
Encryption provides ad ditional protection in case your tabl et is
stolen, and may be required or re commended in some organiz a-
