8.4 Replacing the Backup Battery

The backup battery is required for the relay’s internal clock and calendar to maintain the correct date and time should a power supply failure occur. The battery is also used to retain fault data stored in nonvolatile memory (EEPROM) when a prolonged failure of the DC supply voltage
