H Removing the printer cover

What is cover for, really? Primarily, for two reasons: one, to keep dust and dirt away from the delicate “innards,” and two, to keep the noise level down. The printer cover must be on or

SD-lo/l5 will not print. So, you should keep the cover on all the time, except when setting the ink ribbon cartridge in place, loading paper, or making other adjustments when the cover might be in the way.
