mode In this mode, the Device acts as a 3-port switch with the fiber port connected to 2
remote Devices. See Figure 11.

Note: In 3-port switch mode:
• Only one OAM session can be active at anytime.
• Transparent Link pass through is not applicable in this scenario. The port
link status from the Devices is received only as SNMP traps.
