Securing the Smartphone
Prevent others from using or accessing personal data and information stored in the smartphone by using the available security features.
Go to Apps > Settings > Security > Screen lock or Apps > Settings > Personalization > Screen lock > Select screen lock.
In Starter mode: Apps > Settings > Mode & application > Screen lock > Select screen lock or Apps > Settings > System > Personalization > Screen lock > Select screen lock
Unlocking with the Visual lock
Choose Visual lock.
Unlocking with the Modern lock
Choose Modern lock.
Unlocking with a Pattern
Choose Pattern, draw a pattern by connecting four or more dots, and then redraw the pattern for confirmation.
Unlocking with a PIN
Choose PIN, enter at least four numbers, and then re‑enter the password for confirmation.
Unlocking with a Password
Choose Password, enter at least four letters, including numbers and symbols, and then enter the password again for confirmation.
Unlocking with the User’s Face
Choose Face unlock. Stare at the front camera and put the user’s face in the dotted oval on screen. The oval turns green when the face is successfully recognized. Set a pattern or PIN in case the phone fails to recognize the face.
