1.Engrase sólo el fondo de una fuente para hogaza de 9 x 5 u 8 x 4 pulgadas con manteca sólida hidrogenada. Espolvoree con harina y elimine el exceso. Coloque la olla tapada en la base y precaliente en el ajuste HI (No. 5) mientras mezcla los ingredientes.

2.Combine todos los ingredientes en un recipiente grande, excepto las nueces. Bata la mezcla en una batidora eléctrica a velocidad media hasta que quede homogénea. Agregue las nueces revolviéndolas. Vierta la mezcla en la fuente. Coloque la fuente en la olla.

3.Tápela y hornee en el ajuste HI (No. 5) durante 1 hora y 15 minutos. No retire la tapa por ahora. Para revisar la cocción al concluir el tiempo de horneado recomendado, introduzca un probador de pasteles metálico en diversos lugares incluyendo el centro del pan.
