Option	Setting		Description
Bidirectional	Off*	Activation of two-way communications between the
	On	printer and your computer.
		Bidirectional On enables the printer to send
		messages to your computer.
		!	Only set Bidirectional On if you have a
			software application that supports it.
		Caution
Transfer Rate	High	Relative speed of the port.
	Low*	The High setting will free up the host more quickly for
		other processing. If your computer cannot handle the
		high speed, data may be lost.
