9.2Before You Begin

•Before you can use these screens, you need to have a VoIP account already set up. If you don’t have one yet, you can sign up with a VoIP service provider over the Internet.

•You should have the information your VoIP service provider gave you ready, before you start to configure the P-2812HNU-51c.

9.3The SIP Settings Screen

The P-2812HNU-51c uses a SIP account to make outgoing VoIP calls and check if an incoming call’s destination number matches your SIP account’s SIP number. In order to make or receive a VoIP call, you need to enable and configure a SIP account, and map it to a phone port. The SIP account contains information that allows your P-2812HNU-51c to connect to your VoIP service provider.

Use this screen to maintain information about each SIP account. You can also enable and disable each SIP account. To access this screen, click VoIP > SIP >

SIP Account.
