4.1.10Door Open
Description
Using an extension telephone, an extension user can unlock a door for a visitor.
The door can be unlocked by extension users who are allowed to unlock the door in Class of Service (COS) programming. While engaged on a doorphone call, any extension user can unlock the door to let the visitor in. (→ 4.1.11 Doorphone Call)
Conditions
•Hardware Requirement: A
•A door opener can unlock a door even if no doorphone is installed.
•Door Open Duration
An opened door will remain unlocked for a preprogrammed length of time.
•
The port of the DPH4 card to which the door opener is connected must be assigned through system programming as a door opener port (not a relay port). If it is not, it may not be possible to open the door while on a doorphone call.
