1.Mida la distancia entre los orificios y ajuste el ancho de puntada correspondiente con el selector adecuado. Por ejemplo, si la distancia es de 3 mm, ajuste el ancho de puntada en 3.

2.Cambie el prensatelas por uno para zigzag.

3.Baje los dientes de los alimentadores poniendo su palanca en la posición baja, tal como se indica en la página 18.

4.Coloque un botón entre el prensatelas y el tejido y asegúrese de que la aguja pase por los agujeros sin picar el botón. Si golpea el botón, véase el punto 1.

5.Cosa unas 10 puntadas a baja velocidad.

6.Retire el tejido de la máquina. Corte los hilos inferior y superior y haga un nudo con ambos en el revés del tejido.

PRECAUCIÓN

Asegúrese de que la aguja no roza el botón mientras cose. La aguja podría romperse y causar lesiones.

1.Measure the distance between the holes and set the appropriate stitch width using the Stitch Width Dial. For example, if the distance between the holes is 3 mm, set the stitch width to 3.

2.Change the foot to the Zigzag presser foot.

3.Lower the feed dogs by setting the Feed Dog Position Switch to the Down Position as shown on page 18.

4.Place a button between the foot and the fabric and make sure that the needle enters the holes without hitting the button. If it hits see Step 1.

5.At a slow speed, sew approximately 10 stitches.

6.Remove the material from the machine. Cut the upper and lower threads and tie both threads at the back of the material.

CAUTION

Make sure the needle does not strike the button during sewing. The needle may break, leading to injury.

1.	Mesurer la distance entre les trous du bouton et régler la largeur de
	point appropriée à l’aide du sélecteur correspondant. Par exemple, si
	la distance entre les trous est de 3 mm, régler la largeur de point sur 3.
2.	Remplacer le pied habituel par un pied pour zigzac.
3.	Abaisser les griffes d’entraînement en mettant le levier correspondant
	sur la position abaissée, comme indiqué à la page 18.
4.	Placer un bouton entre le pied et le tissu et veiller à ce que l’aiguille
	pique dans les trous sans heurter le bouton. Si jamais elle heurte le

5.	Coudre environ 10 points à faible vitesse.
6.	Retirer le tissu de la machine. Couper les fils inférieur et supérieur puis
	les nouer sur l’envers du tissu.

ATTENTION

Pendant la couture, veillez à ce que l´aiguille ne touche pas le bouton. L´aiguille risque de casser et vous pourriez vous blesser.
