OPERATION

Now you are ready to pick up the saw. Use the proper grip for both handles as illustrated in Operation-Preparation for Cutting Section.

NOTE - STARTING WARM ENGINE: Follow starting instructions (steps 1-9), but do not attempt to start in the full choke position (skip step 5). For warm enginestarting:Pushandreleaseprimer bulb 7 times. Pull choke out and push back in to the original run position.

Stopping the Engine

Release the throttle trigger (J) and let the engine return to idle. To stop the engine, move the ignition switch (D) to the “ / O ” stop position. Do not put the chain saw on the ground when the chain is still moving. For additional safety, set the chain brake when the saw is not in use.

In the event that the ignition switch will not stop the saw, pull the choke lever out tothefullyextendedposition(FullChoke / ) to stop the engine.

If ignition switch will not stop the saw when set to the stop “ / O ” position, have the ignition switch repaired before next use of chain saw to prevent unsafe conditions or serious injury.

UTILISATION

Maintenant, tout est prêt pour lever la tronçonneuse. Il faut prendre la tronçonneuse bien en main, comme illustré dans section Préparation pour la coupe, Utilisation.

REMARQUE – DÉMARRAGE D’UN MOTEUR CHAUD :

Suivre les instructions de démarrage (étape 1-9) mais n’utiliser pas la position «Étranglement maximum» pour le redémarrage (n’employez pas l’étape 5). Pourledémarragedemoteurchaud: Pousser et relâcher 7 fois la pompe d’amorçage. Tirer le levier du volet de départ et le remettre à la position de marche d’origine.

Arrêt du moteur

Relâcher la gâchette d’accélérateur (J) et laisser le moteur revenir au ralenti. Pour arrêter le moteur, amener le commutateur d’allumage (D) à la position d’arrêt « / O ». Ne pas mettre la tronçonneuse au sol avant l’arrêt complet de la chaîne. Pour plus de sécurité, engager le frein de la chaîne quand la tronçonneuse n’est pas en service.

En cas de non-fonctionnement du commutateur d’arrêt, sortir complètement le levier du volet de départ (volet de départ complètement sorti / ) pour arrêter le moteur.

Si l’interrupteur n’arrête pas la tronçonneuse une fois mis à la position d’arrêt «[ ] / O» faire réparer l’interrupteur avant d’utiliser la tronçonneuse à nouveau pour éviter des conditions dangereuses ou de se blesser.

OPERACIÓN

Ahora se puede levantar la sierra. Tomar los mangos en la posición correcta, tal como se indica en la sección de Preparación para cortar (Utilización).

NOTA - ARRANQUE DEL MOTOR CALIENTE:

Siga las instrucciones de puesta en marcha (pasos 1-9), pero no use la posición de aceleración máxima para arrancar el motor nuevamente (no utilice el paso 5). Para el arranque del motor caliente: Oprima y suelte 7 veces el bulbo cebador. Tire del acelerador hacia afuera y luego colóquelo hacia adentro a la posición original de arranque.

Parada del motor

Soltar el gatillo del acelerador (J) y dejar el motor funcionando en vacío. Para parar el motor, llevar el interruptor de ignición (D) a la posición de Parada ( / O ). No apoyar la sierra sobre el suelo si la cadena está aún en movimiento. Como medida de seguridad, dejar el freno aplicado cuando la sierra no está en uso.

En el caso de que el motor no pare con el interruptor de ignición, llevar la palanca del cebador a la máxima posición de cebado ( )para detener el motor.

Si el interruptor de encendido no detiene la sierra cuando se coloca en la posición «

/O»,hagarepararelinterruptordeencendido antes de usar nuevamente la sierra de cadena a fin de evitar condiciones poco seguras o una lesión grave.

IMPORTANT

When you are finished using the saw, relieve tank pressures by loosening the CHAIN OIL and FUEL MIX caps. Thenretightenthecaps.Allowengine to cool before storing.

Après avoir utilisé la tronçonneuse, desserrer les bouchons du réservoir d’HUILE DE CHAÎNE et MÉLANGE DE CARBURANT. Resserrer les bouchons. Laisser refroidir le moteur avant le remisage.

IMPORTANTE

Al terminar de usar la sierra, liberar la presión interna de los tanques aflojando las tapas de los depósitos de ACEITE DE CADENA y de MEZCLA DE COMBUS- TIBLE. Volver a ajustar las tapas y dejar que el motor se enfríe antes de guardar la máquina.
